Good point.

Not really.  Managing to see the bad in this story is nigh on despair.

No, I suspect Ranjinth wouldnt want anyone saying the NO coming from there, see his comments on it.

Cardinal Ranjith still allows the Novus Ordo in his see. It's not like he has a Campos situation.

Well, this story certainly suggests the direction he wants to move in.  It would be much easier with the SSPX inside the Church than on the fence.

He can't forbid it. It is the "Ordinary Form."

No, there's a point to be made - SSPX come in, and Ranjith has them teach Aquinas and all that good stuff - but what of liturgical studies?  Will the SSPX have to teach seminarians how to say the NO "reverently"??  What at first appears as good news transforms into... a possible attempt to subvert Traditionalists.

No, they won't be on the fence (you're much to nice). According to the modernists they will be destined for hell. The only ones destined for hell, mind you!

Or, what if it's just for liturgy, and not doctrine?

I don't think that it's far fetched for trads to have apprehensions.

OOOoooookay.  So, Cardinal wants SSPX to run major Archdiocesan Seminary.  Secret plan to destroy SSPX.  Got it.   :possess:
