Millionaires of Christ
You got that right.
They do not accept "everyone" in the order.

Case in point, my cousin's good friend was not accepted. The spiritual counselor told him that his vocation is more of a diocesan nature.
Both attended same private schools, gatherings, etc.

Just that my cousins friend is not appealing in presence whatsoever.
:Hmm:

I've heard that too, that they only accept good looking guys.  Considering their founder's predilections, that is disturbing on a number of different levels.  This order needs to have many eyes kept on it, I don't trust them as far as I can throw them.

In Mexico, this is the stereotype for the Legionaries (no joke):

This thread is hilarious!

On a more serious note, didn't the Legionaries get shut down after the founder was exiled?

That not exclusive to them. I read some time ago, that the Brazilian TFP had a similar focus, wanting good looking guys for their organization. Even saying that they had more qualities if they had blue eyes, etc.

Some say is a yellow flag for underlying problems, and others, that is a marketing tactic, and point to Legionaries of Christ websites and the people that shows in the photos.

The Legionaries  must be disbanded. Too much shame and scandal has already unfortunately  been wrought::

They should be disbanded. They are a cult.

Check out the ReGain Network. I discovered them a couple of years ago. They do good work exposing the LC and ministering to ex-LC members:
