There are 2 standards in the post conciliar Church to assess the miracles:
- Lourdes:  Only 87 certified miracles as truly unexplainable among ThOUSANDS of healing reports
- JPII : Two dubbious healings in two dubbious cases.
In fact the healings in the case of  Parkinson disease would be almost certainly dismissed by the "Bureau des Constations" of Lourdes since there are a few cases registered in medical archives of natural remissions
