Don't they have TLMs all over the place out in the Midwest already?

I hope to see the day that we do, but sadly no.

Some of Fr. Hollowell's comments concerning the Latin Mass, as well as a video of the last mass, can be seen here:

Please keep us posted on this, Longfellow.  If I could sing I would join the schola.

More news. I spoke with Fr. Hollowell concerning a schola for the Latin Mass. He told me that he has decided to take a leap of faith and, at some point in the next few months or so (perhaps even the next few weeks), he will start having a weekly sung mass at Annunciation Church.

That being said - if you or anyone else you know could help out with the choir, please direct them my way. The ball's rolling. Let's keep it up.

Could someone give me the down-low on what's going on with this Mass presently (or what will be going on once it returns in January).  What is the time?  Same place?

Thank you.

Tuesdays at 5:30 pm (local time) at Annunciation, Brazil Ind, This is a archdiocesan parish church that has since the Council been strictly NO.

Attendance is on the small side.

Low Mass -  Missa Recitata. I am not in the loop about the future plans, although all this depends on Father and when he is moved next. Meaning no disrespect (!) to Farther, but this seems to be a 'hobby mass.'

Father has told me when I've been that attendance has been as high as 100 and they are in a slump as far as Advent goes. I'll trust, but verify.

Our current plan is getting together a Missa Cantata every quarter - expect the first one sometime around the end of April, God willing, if not before.

Nota Bene: Father reads the Epistle and Gospel in English from the altar, for those who find that kind of thing jarring.
