From right here on FE:
" In the Novus Ordo, this Feast was moved from the last Sunday in October to the last Sunday of the season after Pentecost, which is the Sunday before Advent Sunday. The effect of this is to interrupt between the Reign of Christ with His Saints, who are commemorated en masse on 1 November, and the necessity of recognizing His Kingship now, during the "thousand years" of the Church Age. With the Feast moved to the very last Sunday in the Time After Pentecost, it leads one to believe that Christ isn't King now--- and that all persons and nations don't need to recognize Him as King now---but that He will be recognized as King only at the end of time when He reveals Himself at the Second Advent. In other words, the moving of the Feast symbolically defeats the very purpose of the Feast, which is not only to honor the very fact of His Kingship, but to pray for the conversion of all people and nations to His Church so that souls will be saved and the social order will conform to the moral law."

Anyone can have a feast, but how many Novus Ordo clergymen believe in the Social Reign? As a matter of fact, most clamor for religious liberty, the heresy which dethrones Our Lord.

"How do you react to the celebrations of Vatican II?"
I'll probably have a cup of tea and resume daily business as usual.

Very, very true. [joke]But at least Dignitatis Humanae left untouched the Church's traditional teaching, right? Right?![/joke]

Yep! Missed by a mile! The doctrine of the Social Reign of the Sacred Heart of Christ our King has been emasculated in the post-Conciliar Liturgy and in post-Conciliar catechesis.

Jacky D. is never "appropriate." (And I say this as a proud Tennessean who went to college twenty miles from where they distill it.) Bourbon, on the other hand, is always a good call. :P
