We know the arguments. If we wanted to hear them, we would call the local modernist chanceries, go to the appropriate subforum, or go to CAF.

Legitimate question: Why would one choose an SSPX retreat over an FSSP retreat?
Legitimate answer: START YOUR OWN THREAD!

You are very cute.
Thanks.  Have we met?

Look, you are the one that purposely derailed this thread by starting to attack it.

Then the above. If you want to debate the Ignatian retreats, start your own thread.
Thank you

You're dang right he is-- that double face palm is one of the funniest things I've seen in a loooong time.

Short answer to your question:  The FSSP would not exist without the SSPX.  If the fruit is good, so is the tree.

This isn't the right subforum for SSPX debates.

There is ONE SUBFORUM for debates about the FSSP vs the SSPX. Keep such debates THERE, not here or anywhere else on the forum. If anyone wants to continue the debate brought up in this thread, take it to the proper sub-forum. The appropriate one will be obvious by its name.
