Here we see how Muhammad's claim to being a prophet of God was doubly false.

Supposedly, the Quaran itself, which means "recitation" and is considered by them to be the perfect Word of God.  Also, since it is so beautiful and perfect supposedly, it is also the entirety of his miraculous work.

He didn't prophecy anything. All that happened was Muhammad received private revelations supposedly from the Angel Gabriel. Obviously not true, but yes he didn't prophecy. Not only that, some things in the Quran are terrible. Like, how it is ok to beat your wife for example. "Your wife is as farmland, do as you wish." Yeah, awesome....NOT.

The verses on Jihad are terrible too. Like Hamas uses those verses to justify exterminating the chosen people, the Jews. They also persecute Christians in their countries. Those particular Muslims are going to get it on judgement day.

"Prophecy is a process in which one or more messages that have been communicated to a prophet are then communicated to others. Such messages typically involve divine inspiration, interpretation, or revelation of conditioned events to come (cf. divine knowledge) as well as testimonies or repeated revelations that the world is divine. The process of prophecy especially involves reciprocal communication of the prophet with the (divine) source of the messages."

By this definition of prophecy, Muhammad was at least claiming to be a prophet.  He brought a message, which probably came from a demon or perhaps he made it up, which he claimed to be divine, and that he was in communication with God.  And some have believed him.
