Married to a Filipina, this matter actually hits close to home. Proud of them for still fighting.

unfortunately, the Philippines is fast becoming an "in-name-only" Catholic country, they idolize the west and American materialism, God willing they can get back the mentality of what made them a great Catholic country.

As someone of partial Filipino extraction, this is true.

We can't serve God and Mammon. For each of us, one wins out!
