Question about the scapular medal
#1
I have a question about scapular medals. This question is based on the following quote taken from the document cited on this link: http://www.fisheaters.com/scapulars.htm The document stated that: "The right side of this medal must show the image of Our Most Holy Redeemer, Jesus Christ, showing His Sacred Heart, and the obverse that of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary."

My question is if one has a scapular medal, does the required image of the Blessed Virgin have to be that of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel or can it be any image of the Blessed Virgin as long as one has the Sacred Heart on the other side?

It can be any image of Our Lady, which only makes sense since the medal can substitute for scapulars other than that of Mt Carmel.
