There is an anecdote about what helped Pope John Paul think of the priesthood long before he was pope. Before you complain about what a bad pope John Paul II was, I want you to think about what you have done to encourage a young man to think about maybe having a vocation to the priesthood.

Just be careful about whom you encourage to the priesthood. In the anecdote case, it was a very bad mistake! :crazy:

I understand people have things against Pope John Paul II but let's have some respect.
After all he is beatified and he has been a blessing to the church. Some of his actions were probably not
the best and he himself is a sinner, but remember that the pope is infallible not impeccable.
