I'm thinking a shrimp cocktail because it's Friday, or maybe Campbells tomato soup with milk and tuna salad. Bread is what I want, but no.

Last night we had take out, me- bean rice and cheese burrito and my son kept bugging me for fish bites at McDonald's. He loved them. The dh doesn't follow abstinence or fasting- unless I cook the meal and sneek in a meatless meal. He hasn't figured out the pattern yet lol. It really is funny. Baby steps...

That reminds of the story about the 99 year old Appalachin. On his b'day a reporter came to interview him for tv. She asked what was his secret for long life. He said I only drink moonshine and I eat fried bread. The reporter thoriughly modern asked with some revulsion, "fried in bacon" ? He answered "no bacon doesn't have enough fat, I only use fatback for grease". She fainted.

I love that story,
