Hmmm, I honestly didn't expect him to take that angle.  Good homily - and thanks for posting.

Luckily there were no canonical judgements made in this homily then.

"Certainly, you must be informed about modern errors because preaching the truth involves preaching about distancing oneself from error; but do not make the negative, secondary aspect into the most important! Your first aim is not to fight against error but to know the truth. Your central concern should be study, your sanctification, silence, meditation, and the exercise of charity." - Archbishop Lefebvre

Who is this priest anyway? Not his name but, but what order is he from?
I know of the other regular FSSP priests on audiosancto.  The two new ones sound more sspx.

I thought they were all FSSP.  Anyway, from their site:
Quote:Who are the priests giving these sermons?

The priests you hear in the recordings on this website are Catholic Priests, in good standing with their local ordinaries and Rome, incardinated with normal faculties and jurisdiction, and serving in North America.

I heard this homily in person yesterday morning.  I can tell you that he's a good holy priest who is definitely not SSPX or independent, and is not affiliated with the FSSP or other traditional order, nor is he diocesan -- they are trying to start a new order that will only offer the TLM.  Same with the other priest you're referring to.  They have been a true spiritual blessing to our family.
