Not sure how one would go about reasoning with these people.  What's with the name dropping at the end... are we supposed to recognize these alleged "priestesses?

Honestly, I don't know. They're nuts over there, but provide for comical relief.

Have these people even read the Scriptures, let alone Church history? Have they not seen that every single Evangelist records women as the first witnesses to see the risen Christ on Easter morning? Yes, women - that half of humanity seen as unreliable witnesses, prostitutes, and empty-headed kitchen utensils. Yes, that's just how everyone saw women back then, while they were slaughtering foreigners and asking God to send them pet dinosaurs for Christmas!

Hey, you wacky women-priest advocates, perhaps the Christians had a respectful view of women that radically different from the culture around them! Perhaps it was so different that it could not have come from them and their own 'culture', but it came from the Holy Spirit of the merciful Lord, the Son of God, who was sent by His Father.

The very fact that women were the first to see Christ was 'covered up' by Paul when writing 1 Corinthians 15 - he says the men saw Christ first. There is no mention of the women there... and yet the Holy Church included the Resurrection Gospels along with Paul in Her scripture canon, supposedly long after "culture intervened" to make the same Church into a hierarchical male-chauvinist sexist monstrosity!

Through all those "dark ages", when men were supposedly oppressing women priests and erasing their memory, why did they not delete Phoebe from Romans 15? The Canaanite Woman from John 4? Every other instance of Jesus Christ breaking social convention to show immense respect to women? The Church had plenty of chances to, and even did change history, according to the women-priest advocates... yet they didn't do it in the smallest of things, so why should we believe that they did it in the bigger things?!

These poor people! "Liberal" does not describe them; no, I am liberal, for Christ has liberated me. These people are enslaved to modern Western relativism and the sexual revolution. Let us pray for their healing and a restoration of the mind of Christ in them!

My thoughts exactly. They go on AND on AND on about their resumes as if that qualifies them to preach. Sad people, but yes lets pray for them.
