Wondering about fish eating
#11
I've heard that clams are out, because they are not underwater dwellers. I'm not so sure that a lizard would be OK either. Are there any magisterial pronouncements on this?

I heard the capybara, a south american rodent, was okayed for Friday eating. Although why would want to eat such a cute animal, I don't know. [Image: bubbles.gif]

I was kidding about snakes and lizards, for the record.

If one wants to be safe... eschew all animals on Fridays.

I've heard that "meat" means birds and land mammals, since things that live in the sea were considered fish. So snake, whale, bugs, and frogs are allowed, not that I'd eat them.

It says that they're like guinea pigs. It'd probably be easier (and cheaper) to go to your local pet store to buy dinner then. ;)
