Yes, I do, too.  I was searching for a good one to post and saw this one, which was unusual.  I have a Coptic icon of Jacob's Ladder in my office.  I've had many Coptic Orthodox clients.

I like Ethiopian Orthodox icons even more.  There is something so endearingly childlike about them.  I love the little black cherubs.  For example:

I began to really enjoy Coptic (and Arabic) icons in grad school - Coptic is my second language of study after Syriac. You are right about the Ethiopian icons - so colorful! I would like to learn more about the "theoretical" side of Ethiopian/Eritrean iconography - I get the feeling it is not nearly as formalized as the Byzantine tradition, but I could be wrong.
