Mohammed offers fornication, sodomy and drunkenness for a martyr's death.  Any religion that offers as reward for a holy life the same sins that would warrant beheading is a gutter religion and deserves to be exterminated.

Buddha preached detachment from desires for the impermanent.  Buddha offers cessation of existence.  If Christ essentially taught the same thing, that contentment is fleeting, then what Buddha offers is preferable to what Christ offers.  If all one can hope for in existence is the eternal loss of what makes one find fulfillment in their existence, then Buddha's offer of cessation of existence is much more preferable to Christ's hard and heavy yoke of eternal imprisonment in existence.

I think you're seriously misunderstanding what the Christian expectation of paradise is like. Whatever the specific details of it are (and I expect those saints who have witnessed the uncreated light have the best notion of it among the living), one is maximally happy there, and, according to the Revelation to John, this includes physical and emotional contentment, though it is likely of a different sort to what we experience in this life.

So physical and emotional contentment, but nothing like what we understand physical and emotional contentment to be.  So, could it be reasonable to say that it is disingenuous to put the idea in peoples' heads that one will be physically and emotionally content when it is nothing of the sort?  I noticed the passage you quoted said there would be no sea and there would be no night.  No beaches, no waves, no sunsets, no starry skies.  There is no existence where I could be content without those things.
