this could be good, marriage cant go back to being a real sacrament instead of a church approved and state notarized legal contract.

its not like a state marriage is needed anyways, with insurance not being an issue anymore. and contracts made by the involved parties can cover most everything else.

I agree with you in a lot of ways, except I wonder how many will just forgo the Church part of it.

If they take sacramental marriage that unseriously, it seems to me they have no business having one in the first place.
