Do you think that your struggle with SSA is the result of this abuse?

I think it was the main, thought not the only, catalyst.  I also have a very feminist and, when I was younger, more-so, male-bashing mother.  By nature, I am very sensitive and melancholic.  I remember being very curious about men and wanting their attention and physical affection when I was a toddler.  But it wasn't sexualized at that time of course.  So i think I was always susceptible to developing SSA, but the molestation played a big part in pushing me over the cliff.
