12 Best Alkaline Promoting Foods To Eat Daily For Vibrant Health
St. Padre Pio was asked if man would find a cure for cancer. I heard he was said to have relied that a cure would be found and it will be something very simple and we would be amazed how we missed it. I wonder if these claims about increasing alkalinity in our diets could be 'it'. I have read some article in magazines and a couple of books promoting the anticancer effects of a more alkaline pH being beneficial at lowering tumor growth and that cancer cells don't grow well in that sort of medium. Our body's pH is normally a tad on the alkaline at 7.4 (+/- 0.05), so I suppose we tend to like it a little alkaline. These are some good things to add to ones diet. My grandmother always had a lemon toddy before turning in for the night. I think I'll restart the practice for myself too.

12 Best Alkaline Promoting Foods To Eat Daily For Vibrant Health

Everything, living or non-living, is either acidic or alkaline. However, humans are creatures made to consume alkaline foods and stand as an alkaline organism in the food chain. Our blood’s pH level is pretty much determined by the food we eat. And with our blood being non-alkaline, or simply, acidic, our body will poorly perform and will have difficulty in resisting the harsh effects of oxidation and disease-inflicting viruses.

Recent research suggests that eating too many acid-promoting foods could potentially damage your kidney and your liver and might even raise diabetes risk. But you can help negate acid’s negative effects on the body by balancing your diet with foods that promote an alkaline body environment.
