Order Of St. John
#1
Hello all,

I have been reading about the Knights of Malta and I think it is a wonderful organization.
Not being Catholic I would not be eligible to join but I have heard of two protestant organizations with whom they work very closely. They are The Most Venerable Order of St. John and the Johanniter Order. I believe they are also invitation only but that is about all I know. Does anyone here have any more details on how one could qualify for membership in those two orders?
Thank you.

It's not that easy. They are a very exclusive organization.

Okay. Then join just the Church and we'll see about that afterward.

But definitely join the Church.

Especially with a name like Peter ...

I think you might appreciate this lecture, "Chivalry for Christ," by Charles Coulombe. Even if you never make it into a chivalric military order, nothing is preventing you from pursuing chivalry as a Christian vocation, a calling from God.

Hi are you just interested in joining an organisation, or are you actually interested in saving your soul? Just asking.
