You know that homosexual acts are not the only sexual perversions, right? Do you also believe that those who are habitual masturbators, those who have problem with porn, those who fornicate, those who lust after women in their hearts, those how have had an affair, those who unchastely stare at women, etc etc etc, should never around children? Because if that is the case, you will no longer have teachers in schools at all.

You're forgetting that, in spite of the Church's teachings about chastity, there's REALLY only ONE sexual sin: engaging in homosexual acts. Adultery, masturbation, fornication, lust, watching porn to serve lust -- Catholics are supposed to pay lip service to those (cause they're the ones the majority of Catholics might engage in, even if only to stumble once or twice), but save the barbs and nastiness for Catholics suffering from SSA. We all need a dog to kick around. Catholics are no different. Right?

I wonder why sodomy in particular is in the same bracket of four sins which cry out to heaven for vengeance:

Sin of Sodom, which concerns homosexual acts.  Yes, it does.  The point is made is that the Sodomites did commit other sins, but God destroyed Sodom because of sodomy, homosexual acts, which are an “abomination” deserving of punishment from God.
