I'm a little stunned by the volume of discussion here and the critiques of everything from what constitutes a near occasion of sin for one man, to the sinfulness of homosexuality and what particularly the sin of Sodom was. Here's what gets me: whatever Voris has done is between him, his confessor and God. I for one cannot imagine making public what I have done in my life. Who among us would enjoy laying bare our souls before the world? While I understand the rancor and frustration with Voris's somewhat incendiary personality and modes of attack, perhaps the better focus would be to pray for him. Whatever else he is, Voris is a child of God who was very, very lost for quite a number of years.
I'm sorry if this seems in appropriate; I don't think it is. Prayers for lost sheep don't seem wrong.
