Nothing at all. The problem lies in the vague phrasing and some of the footnotes, unfortunately.
The thing about this vague phrasing is that when you are talking to a world audience about family life sometimes you have to be vague. Many times what works for one family doesn't work for another.
In my personal opinion, vague phrasing generally doesn't work very effectively. For example, the length of what Vox posted is pretty considerable, and despite all that Cardinal Schonborn said, we still need clarification, particularly from the Pope, since he wrote it. General phrasing, sure, I understand how that's easier for some, especially those who don't understand particular Church phrasing, like "hermeneutic of continuity." But vague phrasing leads to confusion.
