Luther did have something to teach- what NOT to do, especially what he did do. So, taking Luther as the example of spiritual misfortune, do not ever:
-interpret the Bible outside the teachings of the Church
-take out books from the Bible to suit your views
-drag millions of souls to perdition with you by teaching them heresy
-take advantage of the ignorance of people in order to convince them that heresy is the truth
