Let's do lunch!
#1
We have a thread for breakfast and a thread for supper. We've had several, in the past, for lunch, but they've all died, so let's try again. I'll start.

Lunch today was salsa made with home grown tomatoes and peppers, with tortilla chips, and a Pilsner Urquell to wash it down.

Oh, that sounds good...

I had corundas soaked in a tomato based pork and poblano stew.  I was a happy Justin right around lunch time!

For lunch, I had some leftover Huh? Not sure what to call it, but it is a quiche or savoury pudding made of squash, eggs, and cheese. Anyway, whatever it should be called, it was delicious!

Today's lunch was a very belated birthday feast for my nephew (45), his son (17), myself (70), all of whom were born on 5 July, and my sister (65), born 31 July. We tried to get it organised around the boys' and my birthday, but today was as soon as we could get it done. We had turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, baked beans, chocolate birthday cake and 'Birthday Cake' flavoured ice cream. It was delicious.

Just had half a footlong sub from Subway (left over from last night's supper), tuna salad, because of Carmelite Wednesday abstinence, and a bottle of Blue Moon to wash it down.

I don't normally do lunch but today I made an exception. I had several slices of ham and some peanuts.
