Let's do lunch!

I'm in the process of eating a fried egg sandwich with a free range egg from a local farm on home baked bread, made in the Oster bread machine our youngest son bought for us whilst we were visiting.

I had a bowl of barley and oats gruel, in which I soaked bits of my failed loaf of rye bread, the story of which is told in another thread.

Breakfast AND lunch was a tin of sardines in water and some whole grain crackers. Pretty tasty, but then I really like sardines, as long as they're not in tomato sauce. That tastes too much like ketchup!

My lunch, courtesy of my beautiful fiancee, was fried fish with beans, queso fresco and tortillas.... I was a very happy man.
Rejoice, O Virgin Theotokos, o Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee! Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, for thou hast borne the Saviour and the Redeemer of our souls!

I combined breakfast and lunch today.  A mushroom-bacon-mozzarella-hot sauce grilled cheese sandwich

I did the same at about 11h00, but it was just a fried egg on an English muffin. Community supper tonight! Meat!

Baked tuna sandwiches for me and the family today. Mayo, tuna, pickle relish, salt, cayenne, and lots of dill.
