Fascinating and weird. Almost a little uncanny.

This makes a lot of sense given medieval dance!  Cool!

I know for running especially it's quite important to land more on the balls of your foot or towards the middle rather than on the heel. It's quite bad for you knees to land on your heel. It took me a while to change and I still fall back to going on my heels when I get tired. You can also tell the difference when you run because when you run properly you'll hear much less noise whereas landing on your heels gives more of a loud thud with every step you take.
Blood of Christ, relief of the burdened, save us.

“It is my design to die in the brew house; let ale be placed in my mouth when I am expiring, that when the choirs of angels come, they may say, “Be God propitious to this drinker.” – St. Columbanus, A.D. 612
