This Is A First!

Since this deals with the technology of social networking sites, I'm posting it here.

I have just been banned from Facebook for 24 hours. I can read my page, and others' pages, but I cannot use Messenger, post or 'like' posts. My crime? Several months (or years?) ago, I wrote a post in remembrance of the Siege of Khartoum and its relief by Lord Kitchener. I may have been a bit un-PC in referring to the followers of the paedophile as 'rags', but the post stood until today. Obviously, only very recently, someone saw it and was 'offended' by it. Their 'safe place' was to report it to FB. So, I'm suspended for a day.

I wonder what they would have done, had I posted the words of Sir Winston Churchill, in his memoir of his service in the Sudan War:

Quote:How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy.
Or of the sixth President of the United States, John Quincy Adams:

Quote:The natural hatred of the Mussulmen towards the infidels is in just accordance with the precepts of the Koran.

I feel so triggered and offended by your quotes of Islamophobic people and their hateful to Allah and Islam words. I must report you to the Grand Muftie
