How’s this for a quote

Quote:Too many have entitled themselves with the authority of Saint Athanasius. Too many want to drag the alleged “heretics” in front of their self-constituted tribunal, to the point of accusing even the Pope of heresy. Too many are causing unceasing confusion in their self-referential media circles and then say that today in the Church “there is confusion”.

There’s not just confusion any longer, there is a polarizing coldness setting in.

If the Pope is falling into heresy, then for the good of souls- most especially his- someone needs to accuse him of it.  As much as certain papolaters claim to love the pope, they sure seem content to let him plunge into hell unfettered.  Perhaps he is right in saying that too many people have entitled themselves with the authority of St. Athanasius, however, he should have followed up by saying that not enough people are cultivating the charity of St. Catherine of Siena.
