Do you guys have Costco up there in Canada? I like their pizzas for Friday nights. I just found out you can special order a veggie pie that had onions....fantastique!
They do indeed. In fact, there are six in Edmonton, where I used to live, but I'm back in the States, and I'm living in a small, rural town in SE Nebraska. The nearest Costco is over 20 miles away. I think the pizza would be cold by the time we got home! LOL

Ooops, sorry for the double post on the last one. :/

In any case, I love all the quotes but if I have to pick my favorite:

6. "The only real stumbling block is fear of failure. In cooking you've got to have a what-the-hell attitude."

I wish I had known that when I first got married and didn't know how to cook.  I nearly had a heart attack every night!
"Even if I had all the crimes possible on my conscience...I would simply throw myself into my Saviour's arms... I know that in the twinkling of an eye all those thousands of sins would be consumed as a drop of water cast into a blazing fire."  St. Therese of Lisieux

“a Church which is poorer in doctrine is not more pastoral, but only more ignorant.” ---Cardinal Caffarra

"The only alternative to One Nation under God is all nations under God-knows-what." Joseph Pearce

Speaking of cooking and onions, my Cuter and Shorter Half just got home from work. She's diligently chopping onions. I asked her what she's making. She said, 'I'm not sure, but it's hard to imagine anything without onions!' LOL

Oh, it appears the memes I posted about Julia Child's chromosomal abnormality were moved to the "Most Women On TV Are Men" thread.

Sorry if they weren't fitting with this thread. :/

What? Wait, never mind. Maybe I don't need to know. Carry on.

Hahaha.  It's not a big deal.

People were remarking how tall she is etc., and I posted some information about her chromosomal disorder that would make her have more masculine attributes.

There are memes being passed around the internet about her and how if you consider her to be a woman in spite of her appearance and extremely rare chromosomal disorder then why would you ask questions about any woman who appears to be a man.  "Do you chromosome check all your dates?" they ask.

They want us to accept what everyone says their gender is with no questions asked.
