Any Other Malta Fan's Here?

Nope! Not the country (but you can be a fan of that Malta too!) This thread is for all those who love that molassessy carbonated soft drink called Malta. I'm a huge fan of Malta, but I had never heard of it nor tried it before last Friday. Ever since I first tried it at a Big Y last week I've been hooked! This stuff is great! I've tried Malta Goya, Sunchy Malta, and Hyper Malt so far and all of them are simply delicious!

Of course, some people absolutely loathe Malta. I guess Malta is like Marmite of the Americas: you'll either think it's the greatest stuff ever, or you'll think it's the spawn of satan lol

Any other Malta fans here?

With the FIFA World Cup only 13 days away, my first reaction at reading the subject of the thread was, 'How the hell did Malta qualify!?'

I've never had malta, but a bit of research indicates that it's very, very popular in many places, with literally dozens of breweries round the world making it.

I love it!  I typically keep several Malta Goyas in the fridge.  If you have a European import store nearby, see if you can get kvass.  It's kind of like the Slavic version of malta, but with more carbonation.
