What is the Congregation of the Clergy?
#1
I am sad because the good, Trad priest in my hometown is being shipped off to Rome to be a secretary in the Congregation of the Clergy. I've been told that this is because the liberals in his (my) parish wanted to get rid of him.

What is this thing?

Please pray for him.
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn’t work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

If God is watching us, the least we can do is be entertaining.

Knowledge is power, and power corrupts. So study hard and be evil.

The Congregatio pro Clericis or Congregation for the Clergy is part of the Roman Curia and is responsible for overseeing matters such as dispensation from active priestly ministry, regulating seminaries, as well as the legislation governing presbyteral councils and other organisations of priests around the world.

Its currently headed by His Eminence, Beniamino Cardinal Stella who was appointed to this position on 21 September 2013 by His Holiness, the pope.
