American Circumcision

So I suppose... circumcision has removed us from the physical realm and into the intellectual realm, (which is one of the wonders of celibacy), it had also ushered in Western Patriarchy, freeing men from women, so they may see the face of the King, see what I mean. God knows.

What you quoted shows clearly that circumcision, or at least this style of it, is the artwork of Satan.  How did it usher in Western patriarchy?  Europe was, and still is, uncircumcised.

If God knows, why did he create men uncircumcised in the first place?  One can't praise circumcision without in the same breath implying that God didn't know what he was doing.  If God knew what he was doing, then uncircumcised is the way to be.  If circumcised is better, then God made a mistake.
I have resigned myself to the reality that I shall have no peace or joy should I continue to exist for eternity.  The question of deism or Christianity no longer matters.  I hope that Christianity is a farce, and that when I die, my consciousness will cease to exist.  In the meantime, I ask the Theotokos to be at my side at my judgement and ask her to intercede to, as I beg, Christ to have mercy on me and to allow me to cease to exist when I die.

One of the major big, big problems facing the American Indian's forced assimilation was they were a matriarchal society.  Perhaps circumcision may have freed them from that. I'd guess, (even though the scripture states Abram left his father's house), the idolatrous culture he removed himself from was likely matriarchal, and again like the scriptures say his descendents are as numerous as the stars, (due to the Covenant of the flesh), and you wouldn't, (most likely), be reading this if it weren't for Abraham's circumcision. What I can't wrap my mind around: what exactly is circumcision of the heart?

Abraham's circumcision was not remotely similar to the form of circumcision practiced today. What's done to American baby boys is light years apart from the original rite.

I take "circumcision of the heart" to mean a willingness to submit to God's will. Which no longer involves circumcision, and especially not the modern form of it.

So mutilating one's member ushered in a patriarchal paradigm of society?

Aside from being completely speculative and, basically, superstitious, archaeology doesn't support that.  Despite what the Biblical record states, circumcision started before Abraham.  Some of the cultures that traditionally practiced it were matriarchal, and many that didn't were patriarchal.  For example, the Philistines, who were probably early Greeks, were patriarchal.

Yes, modern circumcision isn't the same as OT circumcision, apparently modern circumcision was instituted by puritanical extremists, (thanks again melkite).

The Covenant between Abraham and God was a covenant of flesh, so flesh was the main problem God was working on with Abraham and his people? (maybe to purify at least one nation so to produce a worthy vessel?)

Jesus ushered in the New Covenant, right? Still a patriarchy but men and women now equal(er), hence the end of the circumcision of the flesh, meet the new circumcision, the Circumcision of the Heart, and the main problem God is working on with his people now being...? IDK, but, I'd imagine it'd be maybe something like: blessed are those who believe without seeing.

The circumcision of the flesh, (for one thing), freed men from the flesh so they could use their heads, and the circumcision of the heart frees our hearts so we may believe with our hearts?

Your right Melkite, it's only speculation.

It didn't, though.  That's the thing.  Sex-obsessed, circumcised America is proof of that.  Has another country in modern times been as bound up in the flesh as the United States?

Pornography is Jewish and all men in pornography are circumcised.

The United States hasn't always been sex obsessed.

I think it's interesting that Playboy magazine came out the same year as the Chevrolet Corvette (1953).

We were sold a bill of goods.

The United States hasn't always circumcised.

Newborn circumcision rates didn't reach 50% until 1915, and took another 30 years to go over 70%.  The total male population didn't reach 50% circumcised until 1950.  I don't think pornography use can be blamed solely, or even mostly, on circumcision status, but if what you're saying is true, it's interesting that pornography didn't really take off in this country until the number of adult circumcised men overtook the number of adult intact men.  Seems like circumcision and pornography use can both correlate to the growth of sex obsession in society.

Seems God knew what he was doing the first time around.
