as nbLast Saturday right after Mass I slipped on ice on in the chapel parkng lot, fell, and broke my shoulder. It’s got several fractures and am waiting to hear back from the orthopedic surgeon whether he recommends surgery, or whether he thinks it can heal in place, after he looks at the CT scan in depth. I’m 110% out of commision. Pain is a 10 out of 10. Family travelled to help with everything for now but if surgery is needed, don’t know how i can manage, but do believe the Lord will take care of thi gs some way. Would so appreciate your prayers. I see this is bringing out the worst in me. Also likely iwill not be able to go to Mass for at least 4 weeks. Thank you! God bless.

Thank you, Jacalopian. You’re so right, Lenten penances ready made. Also noticed i have about zero patience in life. Going back to specialist tomorrow for X-Rays & praying he still says no to surgery. On the other hand, I don’t want more loss of mobility in the longrun, which surgery -might- help with... but the thought of having to start the healing process all over again is :chainsaw: :chainsaw: :chainsaw: :chainsaw:
