Father Z. exposes the crazies

This is the kind of personality that feminizes and pushes men out of participating in the Church. It would be easy to say that lay men need to step up and back good priests, but the sad fact is that in Novus Ordo parishes other men will attack you for being too "mean" to this kind of selfish, entitled behavior.

These two woman are “lay leaders”, whatever that means. Perhaps Maureen has ambitions of becoming a priest and traditional priests like Father Rynne are getting in the way. Now you understand why her letter was so bitter. It’s personal. Maureen Bennett’s role as “lay leader” is being diminished.

"For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: And will indeed turn away their hearing from the truth, but will be turned unto fables." - 2 Timothy 4:3-4
