Mass in Latin?
#3
Latin, like Hebrew and Greek, is a holy languag. Those three were written on the titulus of the cross.

Originally the liturgy was in Hebrew but it quickly became Greek. But within a couple centuries the Western Catholic Church made Latin the official language ever since and the Eastern Churches continued to use Greek and other languages. But still today the traditional Latin rite uses words from Hebrew and Greek as well in the liturgy.

Latin has been around for so long that it has become a monument of the faith. Sanctified by centuries of use within the Church. Demons hate it because of this.
Surréxit Dóminus vere, Alleluia!
