"Being Beautiful Doesn't Mean Being Sexy"
#1
This is a podcast by Kristine Franklin, who once had a show on EWTN with Roslyn Moss, and it's great for Moms (or Dads) of girls. I love it because I work in schools, and it is sad to see what young women wear, who naturally want to be beautiful, and they want to be liked, but they are victims of our culture, whose message is clear: being beautiful means being sexy!

My husband listened to it with me, and commented that it is not even women who run the fashion industry. It's men - and not the kind of men who really like women!

Here it is:

Kim Franklin Podcast - sexy

(The topic is the first 15 minutes of this 30 min. podcast).

What exactly are you trying to say or are you just being informative? Schools, public and private, lend themselves to multiple forms of debauchery so it is not surprising that sexiness is defined by physical parameters. It isn't just schools either. Parental separation at too young of an age is IMHO is a leading cause of the social problems with young people, which is why I am a HUGE proponent of home-schooling. Knowing what I know now, and seeing how bad the world has gotten, I would certainly be on the side of convincing children to stay home until marriage, or whatever vocation they are called to.

Homeschooling or not, the problem is real. Where do you shop for your girls? Older kids and teens want to fit in and dressing like you're looking to attract the wrong kind of attention is everywhere.
