Once again, climate warriors rescued from their ship trapped in polar ice

These Climate Zealots are kinda like Vegans. They get so hyped up on the 'message' that they ignore the facts that surround them. In the case of vegans, its the fact that they are, somewhat, less healthy than meat eaters, because they cannot effectively support their own immune systems on such a diet without certain amino acids (ones that antibodies and the like are made by the body from) found only in animal flesh. These climate zealots, likewise, cannot see the folly of their beliefs as the effects they claim are taking place fail miserably, before their eyes and their research ship becomes trapped in the very ice sheet they claim is disappearing.

The obvious truth befuddles them both.

Case in point, as with the Climate Change zealots:

Once again, climate warriors rescued from their ship trapped in polar ice
By Thomas Lifson

Warmists never learn!  The conviction that global warming is melting ice in the polar regions has once again led climate warriors into danger and the need for rescue.  The MS Malmo, a Swedish-registered ship, was just rescued after being trapped in ice, and its passengers airlifted to safety.  Get a load of what it was doing, via Maritime Bulletin (emphasis added):
Quote:Arctic tours ship MS MALMO with 16 passengers on board got stuck in ice on Sep 3 off Longyearbyen, Svalbard Archipelago, halfway between Norway and North Pole. The ship is on Arctic tour with Climate Change documentary film team, and tourists, concerned with Climate Change and melting Arctic ice. All 16 Climate Change warriors were evacuated by helicopter in challenging conditions, all are safe. 7 crew remains on board, waiting for Coast Guard ship assistance.

Haven't we heard of something like this before?  Oh, yeah — I wrote this five and a half years ago:
Quote:Warmist dupes and true believers in the media are having a very hard time with the hilarious spectacle of a ship of literal fools who were so deluded by the warmist cult as to believe it was safe to venture into the Antarctic waters in a vessel that was not an icebreaker. The "scientific expedition" was intended to document the comparative paucity of ice in the area first explored by Douglas Mawson a century ago. As nearly everyone connected to the media on the planet now knows, the Spirit of Mawson voyage, as the organizers dubbed their chartered Russian ship the MV Akademik Shokalskiy, became stuck in ice and needed rescue. Adding to the comedy, the Chinese icebreaker that rescued them is now itself stuck in the ice that was supposed to be melting.

A democracy which makes or even effectively prepares for modern, scientific war must necessarily cease to be democratic. No country can be really well prepared for modern war unless it is governed by a tyrant, at the head of a highly trained and perfectly obedient bureaucracy

A phrase which needs to keep being repeated: Weather is not Climate.  Daily and yearly fluctuations are not the same thing as long-term trends, and anecdotes about local snow and ice don't counteract, or even relate, to the question of overall, long-term increases in global averages. Don't forget that the arctic is now able to be sailed across in summer, which never was the case until very recently.

"There are not over a hundred people in the United States who hate the Catholic Church. There are millions, however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church -- which is, of course, quite a different thing." -Ven. Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen

"Let me repeat this sentence. It is impossible in human language to exaggerate the importance of being in a chapel or church before the Blessed Sacrament as often and for as long as our duties and state of life allow. That sentence is the talisman of the highest sanctity." -Fr. John Hardon, S.J.

I don't deny climate change, I'm just against man-made climate change.
The climate has always been changing, global warming and cooling occurred in the past.

Man made 'climate change' is real. The USAF has had a wing devoted to the development and application of different strategies since before the Viet Nam War, when they had specially equipped F4 Phantoms which caused rain to fall in certain areas to flood out roads and limit North Vietnamese army movement or to limit rainfall to allow Agent Orange to remain on the foliage longer, for better effect, after aerial spraying by C130s. This wing is still in existence, but in 40-50 years, they have become much more sophisticated. Now, for instance, they have HAARP devices, some of which are mobile and can change the weather of sub-regional areas, without the need for seeding with chemicals or to enable effects of seeding.

But if its CO2 being the motivator for climate change, due to man's addition of the CO2, then your barking up the wrong tree. That cause is largely refuted by real climate scientists as opposed to sold out scientists (most of these 'scientists' are often not even natural science, scientists, but social scientists), who want funding for their schools and labs and will deliver any result that their sponsors are looking for.
