Can someone please tell me what the inscription on my Crucifix says?

it looks Hebrew to me.
Shamefully, I don’t even know which way is up with this text.

As you can see, there are no photos below.
I can’t seem to attach them.
It tells me they’re attached, and then there’s nothing once the post actually loads.
Am I missing something?

I have had to go into the "preview post" mode (button at the bottom of the reply box) before to make the photos appear...so enter that mode, and try uploading the pix from there.

If so, it is the Hebrew of Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews

Shouldn't that be HaMelech HaYehudim? U'Melech doesn't make much sense here.

Maybe.  It's been 20 years since I've had time to actually study and read Hebrew.  Or Greek or Latin for that matter.
