Prayers for a Friend
#1
Of your charity, please offer a prayer for a friend of mine, Richard Eaton Freeman. He is in his late 70s and has not been well for some time. Yesterday, he was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Richard is a former parishioner of St John Cantius, Chicago. I met him when I spoke at the Catholic Voice International conference in 1991. He has been a valiant fighter for Tradition all his life.

We certainly will pray for him. I'm sure he knows a friend of mine, who also is a valiant defender of Tradition.

Will keep him in my prayers. Do you know how bad his symptoms are yet?

Thanks. No, I don't, but the last thing he posted on FB was that he'd been diagnosed, and that was awhile ago.

That sounds troubling. Especially if he is a frequent poster on FB, it could mean it is serious.

He's not really a 'frequent' poster, but he does take care to keep his friends updated on his health issues, so I AM a bit worried!
