I would call for a World wide 3 Day Fast, 3 meals a day, bread and water only for those capable of doing it.  Abstain from TV-radio and all forms of entertainment and recreation. 3 simultaneous rosaries each day. Maybe 9am Noon and 3pm Rome time. Encourage every Catholic on earth to make a good confession, beginning 7 days before the 3 Day Fast.

What's the point?

We already had Lent recently. The virus won't disappear anytime soon. We'll just have to learn to live with it and develop herd immunity.
