What are your hobbies?

Hiking, mycology, fishing, and hunting. I love to cook, and have become the semi-official family chef (kids like my cooking better than mom's). I enjoy gardening (vegetables; if I can't eat it, why grow it), and make my own hot sauces. And I recently started making pickles; pickled okra was a hit, and I have a few quarts of yellow squash pickles resting now.

If the goal is to tee off your better half, may I suggest consuming beer in large quantities? Or bourbon?

God's love is manifest in the landscape as in a face.  - John Muir

I want creation to penetrate you with so much admiration that wherever you go, the least plant may bring you clear remembrance of the Creator.  A single plant, a blade of grass, or one speck of dust is sufficient to occupy all your intelligence in beholding the art with which it has been made  - Saint Basil

Heaven is under our feet, as well as over our heads. - Thoreau, Walden

I don't know, I'm kind of a boring guy.

I love to read, mainly theology, philosophy, and books about the esoteric/secret societies lately. And with that comes a bit of journaling. Otherwise, I watch/listen to a lot of stuff on YouTube, mostly Catholicism-related stuff, with a few smaller gaming channels and a lot of vaporwave/post-rock. I love listening to music, which has shifted from extreme subgenres of metal to vaporwave, retrowave, post-rock, Gregorian chant, classical, country, and still a bit of metal (albeit I have to be picky).

I'm kind of a gamer, I got a new laptop with a dedicated graphics card recently, so I've been playing some older games like BioShock Infinite, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, Doom .wads, Dishonored, and some Indie shooters. Albeit, with the new laptop comes the battle over temptation with Steam and GOG sales...

Outside of that, I play with my kids and spend time with my family and work.

Put not your trust in princes: In the children of men, in whom there is no salvation. - Ps. 145:2-3

"For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: And will indeed turn away their hearing from the truth, but will be turned unto fables." - 2 Timothy 4:3-4

Knitting. crocheting, making hand-bound books, collecting old books and paper ephemera, learning to identify birds, trees, and plants in the wild, hiking, reading cookbooks (and occasionally cooking the recipes), organizing & feathering my nest. Soon to add learning embroidery and honing my limited sewing skills. If I’m granted old(er) age, I’d like to have a spinning wheel & spin my own yarn.

In the past I was an adrenaline junkie, and perhaps it was the competitive spirit I was brought up with as a child, to get a gift I had to do a task better than anyone else, and the main metric was winning at board games like Monopoly and darts. When I grew up, I formed a complex, I am good when I am praised. So the search for adrenaline began and it's games online, casinos, slots and sites like https://nongamstopcasinos.net/non-gamsto...ing-sites/. Later met a man of faith, years of rehabilitation, and normal healthy hobbies emerged - camping, travelling, handmade from wood
