robust parishes in earlier times

Tumblar House's "Off the Menu" has this today. I thought it was a fascinating contrast. Not the first time anyone has noticed this, but remarkable nonetheless!

Contrasting modern parish schedules of masses and other offerings with a schedule from (what seems to be) the pre-1960 era.

To be fair, as is stated in the video, it's a parish run by religious (so they're going to have more priests on hand) in New York. Also it appears to have a secondary chapel also used for public Mass.

With all that said. You'd be hard pressed to find a parish as robust in public devotions and Confession as that. Maybe St John Cantius? I can't be bothered to check, but all through Mass their walls are lined with people going to Confession.
Ave Christus Rex!
