I'm not at all shocked that a thread has gone off topic--it happens all the time.  What surprises me a little, though, is that apart from the OP, the thread was *never* really on topic.  Just thought I'd point that out.  Didn't mean to ruffle your feathers, if indeed they are ruffled at all.
