This may be more for the “Catholicism” thread, but the linked website is definitely more political and secular. I do not know of, nor have I ever heard of Fr. Gian Matteo of the Pontifical International Marian Academy, but how can anyone with even a modicum of faith, spew forth this lunacy? With friends like this, who needs enemies? For a Catholic priest to attempt to bring Our Lady into comportment with satanic Muslims is beyond sacrilege. It is evil. What’s next I wonder?

And obviously the writer of this article is not Catholic, which underscores even more so the offensive nature of what this priest writes. If he can see it... how on earth can a priest not?

It's just boomer ecumenism nonsense. Any time someone of a different religion has a seemingly benign belief about one of our figures, they try to seize on that. "Building bridges", and so on.
Frankly, the idea that Muslims worship the same god isn't just wrong; it's offensive. Their Allah is a real jerk.

Actually, he's a Copt, so the odds are good that if he's not a Catholic, he is either Orthodox or Oriental Orthodox, both of whom also honour Our Blessed Mother highly.

What is it with Boomers and this stupid obsession with a poltico-socio-religious ideology and philosophy based around the advertising jingle "I would like to buy the world a Coke."
