"One Major Side Effect of Drinking Red Wine, Says New Study"
#5
I'm standing-by for the follow-up post to this in a few months where we find "New Research Suggests Cheese and Wine May Have Negative Health Benefits" :D

Presumably the reason there is so much to and fro on the matter of the health benefits (or detriments) of beverages like tea, coffee, wine, beer and spirits is the studies in question yield results of only marginal statistical significance. Perhaps the other 99 of 100 studies yielded no meaningful result at all. So I think temperance is the best bet with these things - don't drink alcohol to excess frequently, and if you have a little bit each day, balance the caloric intake out a bit so you don't wind up with a beer belly. The same is true of anything, really (within reason).
