Out of curiosity, what prevents you from being in ROCOR or the MP? Or the Greek Orthodox Church?

Nice to have you on here. There are mostly Roman Catholics here but we have a few Greek Catholics such as myself, Jovan, and Melkite.

Yes. That is it. There are only a couple thousand of us.

Regarding the others, I used to be Orthodox (and before that Protestant), but I was convinced that Papal Primacy and Catholic dogma was true. There are little differences between the two and they are close to union.
So I decided to enter into communion with the Catholic Church by joining a Greek Catholic Church. After debating whether to join the large Patriarchal Melkite Church and the small hierarchless Russian Catholic Church, I joined the latter. (I was more used to and fit to Russian Orthodox tradition anyway).

We call ourselves Russian Orthodox in communion with Rome. We hope that soon the Russian Orthodox will enter communion with the Church. Then we will finally have a Patriarch and there will be unity between the Two traditions.

Out of curiosity, what prevents you from being in ROCOR or the MP? Or the Greek Orthodox Church?

There are some differences between us and the Melkites and Greek-Byzantines.
For example, we and the rest of the Slavonics have Church Slavonic as our Holy Language instead of Greek or Latin.
The Pope or one of the Congregations (Ill find the link) actually reaffirmed it is a holy language alongside Latin.
The language I use in my signature (besides English), is not Russian, but rather Church Slavonic.

Also, we have "Old Ritualists" among us. I am not one myself, but we have them. They are great people.
The Pope actually named one who was killed in Soviet era a "Servant of God". (Again. I can link that)

Basically, I want to be Catholic (because it is the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church and the true Faith) but liturgically and regarding Rite, I am Russian Orthodox through and through.

Oh. And while the Russian Orthodox Church is ultra-traditional through and through. They are almost Heaven on Earth.
Many Orthodox are sadly changing their views on some matters.
They are permitting some practices in marriage which are traditionally prohibited. So that is a problem for me.
Also, since they don't have a supreme deciding authority now like the Holy See, they have been getting into disputes with each other. Some churches have excommunicated other churches. I cam to realize the importance of the Ecumenical See and how it was founded by God. 
I found that our own fathers taught long ago that Papal Primacy was true. So that was a critical reason for me to be Russian Greek Catholic.
