A Kontakion (or Troparion, I'm not sure which) that I learned at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Houston:

As deliverer of captives,
And defender of the poor.
Healer of the infirm,
Champion of kings.
Victorious Great Martyr George,
Intercede with Christ our God,
For our souls'salvation.

Are you from Houston? Ever been to Queen of Angels in Dickinson?

No, I'm not familiar with it.  When I returned to the Catholic Church, I attended Mass at the cathedral.  I was not a trad.

It is the Troparion. Here is the Kontakion from the Antiochian Orthodox Church website:

Kontakion of St George (Tone 4): Thou wast cultivated by God and didst become a most wonderful cultivator of piety, and didst harvest for thyself the sheaves of virtue, for having sown in tears thou didst reap in joy and having withstood to death thou art garnered for Christ. By thy intercessions, O Saint, thou dost obtain for us all remission of our sins.

Here's a link to one of the blog posts for the Feast that I posted earlier. It's an excerpt from Dom Gueranger on the Saint.

IN LUMINE FIDEI: 23 APRIL – SAINT GEORGE (Martyr)

And here's one I wrote:

St George's Day

BTW, in the Byzantine Churches he has a bit more flowery title than simply 'St George'. He's called the Great Martyr, Victory-Bearer, and Wonderworker George
