Fasting tips.
#1
I have been for a while, doing my own fasting where I basically abstain from food 2-3 days a week and I try to drink only fluids. I setting it so that I eat only late at night, for health reasons. What should I do? I have went from 200 lbs to 150 lbs, and I am gaining weight, but I don't want to be anorexic. What should I do?

If I'm not mistaken, St. Philip Neri said that corporal penances such as this shouldn't be taken without consulting a spiritual director first, for while they can be made with a pious intention, it will eventually lead to pride.

Fasting is the one thing that we generally can do without permission, just not to extremes.

St. Francis de Sales (Introduction to the Devout Life) Wrote:If you are able to fast, you will do well to observe some days beyond what are ordered by the Church, for besides the ordinary effect of fasting in raising the mind, subduing the flesh, confirming goodness, and obtaining a heavenly reward, it is also a great matter to be able to control greediness, and to keep the sensual appetites and the whole body subject to the law of the Spirit; and although we may be able to do but little, the enemy nevertheless stands more in awe of those whom he knows can fast. The early Christians selected Wednesday, Friday and Saturday as days of abstinence. Do you follow therein according as your own devotion and your director's discretion may appoint.
...
Make it a rule then never to undertake any bodily austerities without the advice of your spiritual guide.

You can try intermittent fasting.
You eat dinner early like 5 pm then no snacking or eating till 7am. That's a 14 hour fast.

Are you doing this for health reasons or for penance or something else?
