So, just complete the poem, and please make it rhyme:

“I once knew me a lady,
I don’t know her no mo’,

In the words of Three Dog Night:

I once knew me a lady,
I don't know her no mo
I once called her my girlfriend
Now she's passed out on the floor
I thought she was a lady
But naw, she just a ho.

I once knew me a lady,
I don’t know her no mo’,
She asked for a baby
I said I wanted four.
What, are you crazy?
How could we afford?
I smiled and said "Lady,
just trust in the Lord."

And then she left because I can't figure out a good ending
With no king to rule me I owe my fealty only to God.
